Background

2015 Games, formerly known as 2015, Inc., is an American video game developer founded in 1997 by Tom Kudirka. Their most notable and successful game is Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, published by EA Games in 2002. 2015 is still in business to this day, but they haven't announced anything for 20+ years ever since their last game, Men of Valor, published in 2004.

1st Logo (January 22, 2002)

Visuals: Just a piece of anamorphic widescreen artwork of American soldiers inside an LCVP in front of Omaha Beach. Below it, there's a caption saying "DEVELOPED BY EALA & 2015".

Trivia: This artwork is similar to the one used in the game's boxart.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Only seen on Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.

2nd Logo (October 19, 2004)

Visuals: Historical footage of a soldier landing in Vietnam from a helicopter plays out in slow motion. At the same time, a blurry outline of the 2015 logo (the "2015" text in a futuristic font) in a black background zooms out, while another outlined 2015 logo compresses together. When the outlines cross, it flashes, forming the 2015 logo in white with a trademark symbol at the bottom-right.

Variant: On the Demo version of Men of Valor from the 35th Official Xbox Magazine Disc, different footage of a soldier bolting to his left is used.

Technique: Live-action footage and 2D animation.

Audio: Background helicopter and gunshots noises and a reverbed clean gunshot when the flash occurs.

Availability: Only seen on Men of Valor.
