Background

6 Point Harness is an American animation studio that was founded in 2003 by Brendan Burch in Los Angeles, California. In 2016, the company merged with Mondo Media.

1st Logo (2006)

Visuals: On a black and white background, the text "6PH" zooms upwards to the middle of the screen in a 3-D movie text font, along with the word "SIX POINT HARNESS STUDIOS".

Technique: Adobe flash animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Only seen on early episodes of the short-lived MTV2 show Where My Dogs At?.

2nd Logo (2006)

Visuals: On a red background with fire, a large bug-like creature (presumably a cockroach) comes up from the bottom of the screen. A black transparent bar is seen with "SIX POINT HARNESS" on it, stacked with the text moving to their positions. Suddenly, the creature takes over the camera, shaking the scene. The whole scene then turns blue then zooms out and returns to normal color.

Technique: Adobe flash animation.

Audio: The first two seconds of the 2nd logo for Imperial Entertainment Group. It was likely that Six Point Harness used Imperial's logo theme without the company's consent.

Availability: Only seen on later episodes of the short-lived MTV2 show Where My Dogs At?.

3rd Logo (October 27-December 29, 2011)

Visuals: On a red fuzzy background is the text "6 point harness" in an 1980s font. Inside the circle of the number 6 is the seatbelt of a car. The word "STUDIOS" appears itself.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: Just the sound of the film projector.

Availability: Seen on MTV series, Good Vibes and their 2011 reel.

4th Logo (September 17, 2013-November 5, 2015)

Visuals: On a gray background, a red belt streaks. The logo zooms in and more red belts streak, eventually filling the screen with red when the screen zooms to one of the belts. The company logo from the previous logo forms on the red background before zooming in slightly.

Variant: There exists a short version starting with the text forming.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The opening/closing theme of the film/TV show.

Availability: Seen on Dick Figures: The Movie, the English dub of Aachi & Ssipak and the failed pilot Everstar.

5th Logo (December 4, 2016-August 13, 2017)

Visuals: On a black background with blue smoke, a bright flash emits from inside the "6" of the company logo that was used from the previous two logos (along with a stylized "PH", but "OINT" and "ARNESS" are removed), which looks retro and is orange. The flash dies down which reveals that the flash came from the belt inside the "6". Underneath the logo is the text "SIX POINT HARNESS" in a different font and in the same color as the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Apollo Gauntlet, season 2 of Cat Agent, and season 4 of Deep Space 69.

6th Logo (June 9, 2018)

Visuals: Just the 6 Point Harness logo, sharing the screen with Disney Digital Network, Mercury Filmworks and Atomic Cartoons logos.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The ending theme.

Availability: Seen on Legend of The Three Caballeros.

7th Logo (April 1, 2020-February 1, 2023)

Visuals: On a black background, lines are drawn in a flashing effect and zoom in to reveal the same company logo from the 5th logo. Then the word "SIX POINT HARNESS" in the same text from the 5th logo appears underneath.

Variant: On Tig Notaro: Drawn, the logo is still.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None or the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on season 2 of Lazor Wulf, the pilot episode of Smiling Friends ("Desmond's Big Day Out"), and the HBO special Tig Notaro: Drawn.

8th Logo (February 1, 2023-)

Visuals: On a black background are drawn lines similar to the 7th logo; however, they are multicolored. In front of the background, glowing white lines draw the company logo from the 5th and 7th logos. Once complete, the same text from the 5th and 7th logos fades in and an orange hexagonal bokeh appears in the background.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None or the closing theme of the show.

Availability: So far it has only been seen on the pilot for Oh My God, Yes! on Adult Swim.
