During the Argentina 78 World Cup, [[Canal 7 Buenos Aires (1959-1978)|Canal 7]] was the host broadcaster for said tournament. A consortium was set up known as '''Argentina 78 Televisora/Centro de Producción a Colores Buenos Aires''' and would handle broadcasts for the tournament. However, the color broadcast was aired internationally due to Argentina being stuck with black-and-white televisions at that time.

Background
During the Argentina 78 World Cup, Canal 7 was the host broadcaster for said tournament. A consortium was set up known as Argentina 78 Televisora/Centro de Producción a Colores Buenos Aires and would handle broadcasts for the tournament. However, the color broadcast was aired internationally due to Argentina being stuck with black-and-white televisions at that time.
