Background
During the Argentina 78 World Cup, Canal 7 was the host broadcaster for said tournament. A consortium was set up known as Argentina 78 Televisora/Centro de Producción a Colores Buenos Aires and would handle the world feed for the tournament. However, broadcasts in color were aired internationally due to Argentina being stuck with black-and-white televisions at that time.
(June 1-25 1978)
Logo: On a sky-blue background, there is a white vector globe surrounded by a redyellow gradient dot pattern. Below is "A78TV" in a white, abstract line typeface, and underneath is "Buenos Aires - Argentina" enclosed by 2 horizontal dark-blue bars.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: A slow synth appregio plays while other synth plays two times a 5 note-theme, which is the beginning of the stock music (made very low pitched and slowed down) "Electrosonic And Logos #6" composed by Richard Sanders, spotted in the Valentino Music album, "Classic and Logos Vol. 1".
Music/Sounds Variant: During the last few moments of the broadcast of the final, the Argentina 78 theme song is played.
