Not to be confused with ABC Motion Pictures.

Background

ABC Films was the short-lived film division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

(1997-2000)

Logo: On a black background, the ABC logo animates in the same way it did in its television and video counterparts, except this time, it's on the top half of the screen and much smaller than before. After that, the spaced-out word "FILMS" zooms in underneath it.

Trivia: This logo provided the base for the 1st ABC DVD logo, released after ABC Films' closure.

FX/SFX: The same flipping animation as the ABC Video logo and the zoom-in of the "FILMS" text.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 3rd ABC Video logo.

Availability: So far, only spotted on the Australian DVD and VHS release of Thomas and the Magic Railroad. It may or may not have been seen on other films released by them, despite them also distributing Her Majesty Mrs. Brown.
