(1953-1982)

Logo: Usually an in-credit text, but there are some shows that contain the ABC network logo accompanied with the text "this has been an (abc) television network presentation".

Variant: Some shows would just simply say "An ABC Production", "an ABC TELEVISION NETWORK production", "(This has been) An ABC TELEVISION NETWORK PRESENTATION", [Name of series] IS AN ABC NETWORK TELEVISION (NETWORK) PRESENTATION", (This has been) a [Name of production company] in association with the American Broadcasting Company, or [Name of series] is a [name of production company] in association with the American Broadcasting Company.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds/Voice-over: The end title theme from any show or silent, with or without a male announcer saying either the following:

  • "This has been an ABC Television Network (film) presentation".
  • "[Name of series] is a [name of production company] in association with the American Broadcasting Company."

Availability: Rare. This was seen on a lot of original prints of shows such as The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, and Top Cat, among other shows. Not even DVD releases have this. This logo appeared at the end of two episodes of The Donna Reed Show on Me-TV sometime in July 2014. Also seen at the end of a few prints of the recent reruns of The Untouchables on H&I (Heroes and Icons). It is intact on most season 4 episodes of Naked City on Tubi.
