Background

AMC+ is an American subscription video on demand streaming service owned by AMC Networks that was launched on June 11, 2020. The service is a premium bundle that includes the live feeds and program libraries of the company's television networks and streaming brands along with its own exclusive content.

Logo (June 11, 2020-)

Visuals: On a dark blue background, a cyan gradient "+" symbol is seen to the left, which then pans to the center of the screen with a trail. It then enlarges, and shrinks to form the AMC+ logo, which is the AMC Networks logo in the same cyan gradient with a "+" cut beside the "C". The gradient then shines.

Variants:

  • On original series, the AMC+ logo is already formed, which then shrinks. The word "ORIGINAL" then slides in from a line next to the "+", which then turns white.
  • A "You're Watching" bumper exists.
  • On the end of Kin, the logo is on a black background with copyright information below.
  • An in-credit variant exists at the end of shows such as The Beast Must Die.

Technique: 2D animation by Sibling Rivalry Studio.

Audio: A long synth drone, accompanied by another, shorter and reversed drone. When the logo is formed, two piano notes play.

Availability: Seen on AMC+ original programming such as Moonhaven and 61st Street, and appears on Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Slippin' Jimmy, The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. Additionaly, this plasters the Netflix logo on AMC+ prints of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.
