Featured Media Nominations

Featured media are images and videos determined by the community to be significant, rare or otherwise interesting logo finds. These aren't your ordinary film, television or home video logos. Featured images appear in the gallery on the main page. On this page users can nominate images to be featured and vote on candidates to receive this distinction.

How to use this page:
Click "Nominate", fill out the fields and submit your nomination. Users will then be able to vote in support or opposition to the image being featured. if an image or video recieves at least a support:oppose ratio of 2:1 (two thirds majority), it passes and the proper template is added by a bureaucrat.

We discourage submitting logos solely based on its visuals. All media need to be significant to the community in terms of obscurity.

Reason: Found this rare Disney MGM studios as seen on the earliest episodes of Wheel of Fortune that are taped at Disney World. Animated background and the "D" is noticeably cut off.

Children's Television Workshop (1999) (Early version).png

Reason: Found what seems to be a prototype version of the unused 1999 CTW logo. This was on a screener VHS of The First Snow Of Winter at the start of a Dragon Tales promo. The archive upload dates this tape at 10 September 1999, predating this logo's planned official debut on Elmo in Grouchland by almost a month. WGBH "Boxing" Ident (November 8th, 1973)

Reason: A huge closer step for the existence of the sweeper sign off (I only could find the audio of the sign off unfortunately and not the footage btw). Parade Video (1988)

Reason: A rare, seemingly unusual variant of the little well known Parade Video logo. I randomly call it unusual, reasonably due to the movements of the texts and such. From a *Chinese* VHS of Cal Pozo's Learn to Dance in Minutes: The Basic Lessons(?).

Reason: Another localisation variant.. though this one is far different than most that I've seen, namely the fact that this is actually a new logo technically! The logo zooms in somewhat cheaply, which isn't present in ANY Orion logo whatsoever. And with that, here's why I believe this should be featured. It's simply another unique translation. Reason: Thats right, Chile had Front Row Joe intros until 2012! I was able to find 7 of these in total and they will all be uploaded to YouTube in the near future (one of them has already been hiding there for years, and the other ones I will upload are in the depths of Vimeo). All of them end with this. In my hunt for the lost 2012 Cinemark "Dog and Projector" policy I couldn't find it, but I found basically EVERYTHING ELSE, so stay tuned for more Cinemark finds.
