Featured Media Nominations
Shortcut:

Featured media are images and videos determined by the community to be significant, rare or otherwise interesting logo finds. These aren't your ordinary film, television or home video logos. Featured images appear in the gallery on the main page. On this page users can nominate images to be featured and vote on candidates to receive this distinction.

How to use this page:
Click "Nominate", fill out the fields and submit your nomination. Users will then be able to vote in support or opposition to the image being featured. if an image or video recieves at least a support:oppose ratio of 2:1 (two thirds majority), it passes and the proper template is added by a bureaucrat.

We discourage submitting logos solely based on its visuals. All media need to be significant to the community in terms of obscurity.

Nick Jr UK - Crabs (2009).png

Reason: For five years, Nick Jr UK used the 'Paper' branding, featuring an ident set created by Studio AKA. Quite a few idents are considered to be lost, and others have only been partially found. Despite this, and out of nowhere, a DVR owned by Paiger was found to contain this very rare ident! I've known about this since September but wasn't able to share it until recently, I'm very excited that more idents from this very underrated set are now being found and I think this find deserves recognition. Huge shoutout to warriorglitchy too for being *the* Nick Jr UK archival person and for ripping this ident from the DVR. LoganStuff (talk) 13:38, 15 November 2023 (UTC)

  1.  Comment: I suggest nominating the video capture instead of a screencap of it since that will lead to someone taking this nomination out of context and say it's already featured. The featured video is, from what I assume, likely your intention, but from the looks of how you formatted and described it, it feels like nominating an image of the logo rather than the full video. I can fill in the upload of the logo sequence to the wiki if you're unable to do it. Camenati (talk) 06:20, 14 November 2023 (UTC)

Reason: So, after it was initially imageless, they did add an image to the shortlisted Disney Clios entry. It's just as interesting as the video.     Did you read all of the above? It also has production data on the top and bottom. Through this thing, we know the date the logo was completed, among other things. AlmightyKingPrawn (talk) 19:50, 20 October 2023 (UTC)

Reason: It's a tough find, as it is buried within many other shortlisted entertainment branding things, but if you dig deep enough into the website, you will find the current Disney logo. It looks like there is no video or images, but there is a video after all. Don't watch it on mute (as I did at first)... AlmightyKingPrawn (talk) 01:46, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
