A company/station must fulfill one of the following:
- Have one of their releases screened in a festival/theater.
- Have an official distributor
- Have one of their releases aired on television or a paid service
- Have one of their releases distributed physically
- Have news coverage (of its releases/company/logo)
- Personal blogs and comments do not count as notable news coverage.
- Must have been nominated for or won at least one award
- Must have funding from sponsorship/government funded
