Due to the design on the logo, only the refined version can be used for a typeface based on the logo, as otherwise the lines would be too think for certain letterforms. I propose we officially switch all usage of the AVID logo to this refined version. AVID logo refresh
As I'm sure some of you are aware, there are multiple variants of the AVID logomark out there. I propose we finally standardise this.
There are 3 known variants out there.
- A super bold variant used in the favicon.
- The main logo version, shown here.
- A refined version, by Nancer, used for AVIDCAST and on the Discord server banner, shown here.
Due to the design on the logo, only the refined version can be used for a typeface based on the logo, as otherwise the lines would be too think for certain letterforms. I propose we officially switch all usage of the AVID logo to this refined version.
