So, fellow user Camenati has questioned about whether videos are eligible for the featured image nominations page, and EternityMediaGroup has suggested we create an RfC regarding that. Camenati has provided an instance, saying that he has one rare ident that is only found on one page (not even on mainspace) and nowhere else. I do think videos should be featured alongside images, as they do have more reliable sources and provide us with more information/evidence regarding the logo(s) and more.

Support per Camenati, however, I'd suggest the name "Featured Media" instead. The Main Page could also be updated by implementing a tabber in that section with a tab for images and one for videos. Talk · Edits 04:52, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
