Include splash screens on the site
I propose the inclusion of splash screens on the site, for the following reasons:
- Most of the times, they are audiovisual identity, and they share similarities with onscreen logos and commercial tags (inclusion of logo, byline, sometimes animated logos. etc)
- Bootscreens are considered splash screens, in fact they're also known as boot splashes
- We have one page for a splash screen: Shazam (the second entry)
If this proposal passes, of course splash screens should be split off from onscreen logos (like the Shazam one), probably into a new subpage like we currently do with bumpers and tags. We should also only include notable splash screens if possible.

- Support. Why not? We already have pages for OS boot screens, so why not go all in? Dominicmgm (talk) 15:01, 26 February 2023 (UTC)

- Support I think it’s a great suggestion. Would QuickTime be added to the corresponding category once this happens?

- Support I sometimes think this idea can be implemented without needing a RfC, but at least we have a firm record of support. --Pingu (talk) 02:00, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
