About friend requests

I can remember trying to add Eternity Media Group, Compooper and Camenati as friends, but they never confirmed it. Safe to say they don't want to be my friend. However, I'm thinking that if you send a friend request to someone, and they don't confirm it in 1 month, the request will be deleted. I also think we should make an option for users to cancel requests, then you will get a message saying the user doesn't want to be your friend. BTW, the reason I wanted them as friends is because the more friends you have, the better. Sonicfan19198282 (talk) 12:47, 8 February 2023

Support

  1. Support Having requests deleted after one month, as it just makes sense. (Lets chat!) 12:53, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

Abstain

  1.  Abstain I don't think that's something we can easily implement Compooper (talk) 13:02, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
I'm afraid so... Luli Logo (talk "coming soon") 21:11, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

Oppose

  1. Oppose Informing the requester of a cancelled request, as most other platforms don't do this either. (Lets chat!) 12:53, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
  2. Oppose this is more on Miraheze's side of things, not ours. Logohub (talk) 13:04, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
  3. Oppose This is most likely something that we cant do as it's most likely on Miraheze's end. (Talk to Me!) 19:30, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

Comments

  1.  Comment: I believe this is on Miraheze's end rather than ours. I will still vote if this is not the case. (Lets chat!) 12:53, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
  2.  Comment: Requesting SNOW closure because this is Miraheze's problem. Just gonna have to tell this to them. Sonicfan19198282 (talk) 07:04, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
  3.  Comment: EternityMediaGroup and Sonicfan are partially correct: this request cannot be completed by AVID management. This isn't Miraheze's problem either: Miraheze does not add features to third party extensions. You must make the request to the creators of this extension, they are the only ones who can do feature requests for it. If successful, let Miraheze know to update the extension. In the meantime this request should be speedily closed as impossible to execute and the OP should be informed where to make the suggestion. --Raidarr (talk) 17:11, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
