:We can't just include every single logo on every film, especially minor productions like college projects or school films. We oughta need proper guidelines to decide which should be included in the wiki and which shouldn't be. [[User:Logoarto|Logoarto]] ([[User talk:Logoarto|talk]]) 09:26, 9 December 2023 (UTC) |

Notability guidelines
I think we should introduce proper notability guidelines. I have come up with a rough draft below; feel free to contribute to this:
A company must fulfill one of the following:
- Must have one of their films screened in a festival/theater. For youtube exclusives then they should follow the youtube notability guidelines
- Must have an official distributor
- Must have one of their series aired on television or a paid service; for free web series such as youtube exclusives then they should follow the youtube notability guidelines
- Must have a physical release
- Must have news coverage (of its film/company/logo)
- Must have been nominated for or won at least one award
- Must have funding from sponsorship/government funded
Solar also proposed the youtube notability guidelines' subscriber minimum to be 500k instead of 1 million and tbh I agree. Less restricting but still strict enough so the average youtube user wouldn't probably be included. - Previously unsigned comment by Logoarto
