#{{Support}} I oppose this name, because it's just that effective in communicating what that logo is, while also still keeping the wordplay established on the other two wikis intact. [[User:Compooper|Compooper]] ([[User talk:Compooper|talk]]) 19:33, 8 November 2024 (UTC)

Technical design wiki name

We have recently announced that we would be splitting the wiki into two. The new wiki will be comprised of technical designs that are not related to branding, such as:

  • warning screens,
  • error screens,
  • emergency screens (including EAS),
  • test cards,
  • test films,
  • film leader/slate formats,
  • focus leaders, leader ladies,
  • closed-captioning bumpers
  • modified screens,
  • VHS-related technical screens,
  • LaserDisc-related technical screens
  • and etc.

After some discussion on the server, a few names have been suggested. Please vote for your favorite one! Logoarto (talk) 15:45, 8 November 2024 (UTC)

  1. Support My preferred name, personally. It's an encyclopedia, going with a Database and an Archive, easy to remember, and allows the potential for an actual tide as a logo. · Talk · Edits 17:44, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
  2. Support This is the best of the bunch. LoganStuff (talk) 18:00, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
