Revision as of 15:13, 22 November 2022

Since the CLG Wiki rebranded into AVID, many elements of the wiki have been updated to contain the AVID name, all except one: the Cologne Blue banner. While I get that it's meant to be a time travel back to the final Wikifoundry years and theme, I believe it's pretty confusing when there's both the old CLG name and the contents, especially the main page, with the AVID name. I think, as the designer of the AVID logo, the banner should be updated with the new logo and banner, while still retaining the old theming of the banner. Here's my banner concept for this proposal. 20:57, 20 November 2022 (UTC)

Support

  1. Support Way overdue. Really, if we're rebranding, why not go all-in? · Talk · Edits 21:04, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
  2. Support I've been wondering when that would happen. 22:52, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
  3. Support Should be clear that must happen. Also, I want to add that the theme needs to be fixed so that it's compatible with mobile phones and the "Edit source" button is sometimes missing on the top of the page. Camenati (talk) 22:54, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
  4. Support Do I need to say anything else? Why is this still left alone when it's been months since the rebrand? It needs to be fixed. IAmThe789Guy (talk) 20:05, 21 November 2022 (UTC) IAmThe789Guy
  5. Support
This needs to be used. It also sort of feels like the Windows classic theme on XP and Vista/7, an old interface with new branding.

Abstain

Abstain I don't use that theme, so again...No comment. --Zdrmonster (talk) 23:25, 21 November 2022 (UTC)

Oppose

Oppose It will ruin the idea of the old Wikifoundary/Wetpaint theme. Sickminecraft45 (talk) 19:47, 21 November 2022 (UTC)

But then wouldn't we still go under two different names? · Talk · Edits 20:01, 21 November 2022 (UTC)

Comments

Wait, wasn't I supposed to change the logo and banner back in this RFC? (lets talks) 13:34, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
