I have closely read the CLG Policy and Rules and I found no evidence that uploading images with overlays violates those rules. Tanawat2002 (talk) 01:59, 2 August 2022 (UTC)

It's still considered an "unwritten rule" though, because these types of images are seen as low-quality/low-effort. Or, in the case of images with other people's watermarks on them, theft.

Adding new logos and leaving them blank with absolutely no info besides years, as shown in his recent edit on the WGTE-TV page. I consider this disruptive because as I have previously stated, it creates confusion among readers and contributors on what logo is being described here. Did some very poor edits on, you guessed it, PBS Kids, deleting most instances of "TBA" and a video for some reason and writing about the upcoming logo in a way that we'd call a Zero Context Example on TV Tropes (I've kept that part of the page mostly empty because we don't have the full logos yet and I don't want to describe them based on tiny snippets from a sizzle reel; I was going to describe them once they truly started running and we have them in full). Is this considered another issue: adding logos and companies with absolutely no descriptions? Sometimes, his contributions has some small details but then there are other instances like when he added the GFM companies to the formerly-titled HandMade Films page as well as an earlier contribution to the Sky Originals page and to the Aniventure article. There's also some of the ID pages he created like this one where multiple sections are left blank with no info. To me, it's the same as how this site forbids blank pages and simply adding them into the articles without bothering to do anything else with them is like digging holes no one can figure out what particular thing belongs there. Soby's way of vandalizing is actually noticeably way more similar to another problematic user (and Wikipedia long-term abuser) this wiki used to have who went by the name of Nate Spidgewood, and I think Soby may actually be copying him. Nate would often (and probably still does on Wikipedia) flip out at other people who undid his edits by including metric tons upon metric tons of exclamation points, ALL CAPS and violent actions and threats in his edit summaries, and Soby has been doing the same exact thing here as Nate's been doing for several years. Though, the two likely aren't the same person, as Soby lives in Romania while Nate lives in the US.
