Background
This was the production company of Craig Baumgarten and Gary Adelson. The company had a partnership with TriStar Pictures in which its 18 months first-look production deal was extended in July 1993, refreshing a relationship that began with an overall housekeeping deal in 1991. The duo split in 1994, however they continued to work as producers on films around that time. Baumgarten would form Baumgarten Merims Productions with producer Adam Merims some time after the former's partnership ended.
