Background

Advance Films Ltd. was a film company from Hong Kong.

1st Logo (June 10, 1976)

Visuals: On a dark blue background, 2 red strokes draw in a red rectangle via a "bracket" form, followed by the Chinese characters "先锋" writing in stroke by stroke within the box. The rest of the Chinese name, in yellow characters read from right to left, wipe in as well. Below it, a yellow "AF" design draws itself in piece-by-piece, with filmstrip designs on the larger bars, and then the English name "Advance Films Ltd.production" wipes in from left to right.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen only on The Good, The Bad and the Loser.

2nd Logo (March 2, 1977)

Visuals: On a dark blue background, the red box containing the first 2 characters of the company name appears in the left of the rest of the company name in white. Below it is the "AF" logo from the previous logo with the company name translation in white.

Technique: Still printed image.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen only on The Yellow Panther.
