Agetec Inc. (for ASCII Game Entertainment Technology) was formed in 1998 from a series of assets of the former ASCII Entertainment, primarily publishing more niche Japanese games and the occasional original title. The company would later became an independent publisher by 1999, eventually publishing games up to 2014.
