Background

Alibaba Pictures Group is a Chinese film company under the Alibaba Group. The film company was formerly ChinaVision Media, of which Alibaba Group bought a majority stake in late 2014. It subsequently was renamed from ChinaVision to Alibaba Pictures Group. By April 2015, it was the largest Chinese film company by worth, with a market value of US$8.77 billion and by June of the same year it was worth US$9.6 billion.

Logo: On a space background, we see a blue centrestar glowing, with the letters of the word "ALIB" in "ALIBABA" being revealed by the light at bottom-left. The light moves slightly right as the rest of the logo fades in. Then the icon of the main company Alibaba Group (the letter "A", drawn by whose turning into a filmstrip with the face of the smiling man), and the words "ALIBABA PICTURES", with the trademark symbol next to the "S" in "PICTURES", underneath it.
