Background

Allarcom Ltd. is a television broadcaster and operator of CITV-TV in Edmonton and pay TV station Superchannel, which was headed by Charles Allard, that was formed in the 1970s. It was sold to Western International Communications in 1991, and the production unit became Westcom Entertainment Group.

Availability: Seen on most prints of the television movie Small Sacrifices.

2nd Logo (November 12-14, 1989)

Visuals: On a dark blue background with an animated aurora in the background, a golden "A" with a giant "i" carved out of the middle of it is shown rotating towards the screen. The "A" shines once when turning towards the screen and has red and green spotlights over it. Once it settles into place, the text "ALLARCOM" in a gold Arial font, fades in below and flashes.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The closing theme of the program.

Availability: Only seen on Canadian airings of Small Sacrifices.
