Background

Allarcom Ltd. is a television broadcaster and operator of CITV-TV in Edmonton and pay TV station Superchannel, which was headed by Charles Allard, that was formed in the 1970s. It was sold to Western International Communications in 1991, and the production unit became Westcom Entertainment Group.

1st Logo (1989)

Visuals: On a black background, there is the text "In Association With", and below it, the white text "ALLARCOM LTD." in a Microgamma font.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the program.

Availability: Seen on most prints of the television movie Small Sacrifices.

2nd Logo (1989)

Visuals: Over a set of flashing green curtains, a metallic stylized letter "A" rotates to the center of the screen. The word "ALLARCOM" flashes in below the letter.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The closing theme of the program.

Availability: Only seen on Canadian airings of Small Sacrifices.
