Background

Altitude Film Distribution was a British film company that was founded in 2012 by Will Clarke.

1st Logo (2014-2017)

Logo: On a black background, we see a static image of lines consisting of a triangle on the right side. Below it was the word "ALTITUDE" in a typewriter font. The logo flickers like a static effect while the logo zooms in.

Technique: The flickering effect.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on early Altitude releases like Spooks: The Greater Good and Fruitvale Station.

2nd Logo (2017-)

Logo: On a black background, we see white lines drawing in that resembles a stylized "A". The logo then lights up to form the white "A", and then the word "ALTITUDE" flickers in below.

Variant: A still version exists.

Technique: The drawing and the flickering.

Music/Sounds: A drone, then a synth theme at the end.

Availability: Seen on Altitude's releases from the era, like Pig.
