(1982-1990?)

Logo: On a black background, a red sunburst appears, zooms in, then fades out, leaving a red outline of an abstract "aG", which zooms out with a trail effect. The "aG" becomes solid red as a yellow outline of another "aG" appears and zooms out, merging into the red "aG". The "aG" turns yellow, then flashes, turning metallic. The Chinese name in red appears zooming out, followed by the English "ALWAYS GOOD FILM CO., LTD." in white zooming out below the Chinese name.

FX/SFX: The trail effects, the outline zooming and the logo forming.

Music/Sounds: A majestic fanfare, which is actually the last half of "Fanfare" by the rock band Kiss from their 1981 album Music from "The Elder". This fanfare is also used by many Hong Kong film companies' logos.

Availability: Uncommon, Seen on the movies Carry On Pickpocket, Who's the Crook , Sweet Sixteen, Just for Fun and The Intellectual Trio.
