Background
This is a vanity card used for The Amazing Race. It presumably belongs to the show's host, Phil Keoghan (who also hosts Tough as Nails and co-owns Tough House Productions with his wife, Louise).
Logo (September 5, 2001-)
Visuals: A light blue-outlined rectangle appears on a black background. The inside of the rectangle is a gradient shade of orange, white and light blue, respectively. Inside the rectangle are these words with a blue drop shadow:
R A C E
P R O D U C T I O N S
"A M A Z I N G" is in white, while "R A C E" is in light blue and "P R O D U C T I O N S" is in a gradient shade of white and orange, and the entire text is in the same font as the logo for The Amazing Race. The logo slowly zooms out.
Variant: A variant where the logo shares the screen with the 2nd 1985 Touchstone Television logo exists. This can be seen on seasons 2-4 of The Amazing Race.
Technique: A slow zooming effect.
Audio: None.
Audio Variants:
- CBS airings use a generic theme and occasionally a announcer.
- On seasons 2-4 of The Amazing Race, the 1989 Touchstone Television logo's theme is heard.
- From season 19 onwards, the 4th Worldrace Productions logo's theme extends onto this logo.
Availability: Seen on The Amazing Race on CBS.
