Background
Amedia is a major Russian television company, founded in 2002 by Alexander Akopov.
(September 27, 2004-)
Logo: On a black background, a white rectangle appears and flashes. A purple-orange gradient rectangle with "a" zooms and goes to place. The rectangle stops flashing and the word "amedia" appears letter-by-letter below.
Variants:
- A variant with the website below exists.
- Another variant starts with the "a" rectangle appearing.
- Since 2005, the logo is presented in widescreen.
- A still variant exists. Sometimes, the rectangle is rounded.
FX/SFX: Everything in CGI.
Music/Sounds: A whoosh, then a Hi-Fi note with plucking sounds, followed by a shining sound and piano notes. Sometimes, it's silent.
Availability: Fairly common. Used at the end of Amedia-produced sitcoms and TV series. It also appears in the Step by Step Russian adaption and on some movies. The website version is uncommon bordering to rare, seen on Western Russian-adapted shows. Appears on the STS television network on their produced shows for that channel. The widescreen version first appeared on Ne rodis' krasivoy (Not Born Beautiful) and appears on future widescreen programs like some episodes of cartoon shows by the company.
Editor's Note: None.
