Background

Animewho was a short-lived division of the hentai distributor JapanAnime, meant to distribute more mainstream anime titles, founded by its CEO, Tom Devine. After their only license was distributed, the company was immediately disbanded due to low sales.

Logo (2008)

Visuals: On a space background, several glowing blue lines streak around the area and swirl about wildly for a second, briefly forming the outline of the AnimeWho logo. After they go off-screen, a thin blue line appears in the middle of the screen as the AnimeWho logo appears in silver and the entire thing zooms out slightly. The logo consists of a cartoon owl made of various lines, along with the text "animeWHO" to the right of it.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Various sparkling noises are heard, followed by a stock owl hoot sound.

Availability: Only seen on Joe vs. Joe Collection 1 and 2.
