Background

This company was created by stand-up comedian Denis Leary in New York City.

1st Logo (March 14, 2001-September 7, 2011)

Nickname: "George Washington Bridge"

Logo: We see live-action footage of the George Washington Bridge, New York City and the sky gets darker, the lights get brighter, and the background starts to be covered with a black rectangle until you can only see the bridge and all the lights. The sky going from bright to dark is sped up. As this happens we see the words "A P O S T L E" zoom fade out.

Variant: There is a longer version.

FX/SFX: Just the text zoom-fading in and the black rectangle forming and the live action of New York.

Music/Sounds: A fast quieter drum beat with a low-pitched owl-like sound inbetween.

Music/Sounds Variant: A longer version is seen on the Rescue Me only when The Cloudland Company logo is an in-credit variant.

Availability: Seen on The Job, Rescue Me, and Canterbury's Law.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (May 3, 2013-September 1, 2016)

Nickname: "The George Washington Bridge II"

Logo: We see the same part of New York at night from the previous logo, but at a different point of nighttime. the city and the video is sped up because of all the vehicles going by. The words "A P O S T L E" are still.

FX/SFX: Just the live action of New York.

Music/Sounds: An electric guitar note.

Availability: Seen on Maron, Sirens, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, and Benders. Don't expect this to appear on the US adaptation of The Moodys, despite him being one of the executive producers on the show.

Editor's Note: None.
