Background

Apparition was a short-lived arthouse film company. After releasing 6 films in its lifetime, the company was suddenly shut down in 2010 for unknown reasons (though a likely factor is almost all of their films underperforming).

Logo (October 16, 2009-April 9, 2010)

Visuals: Essentially just the white word "APPARITION", in an old-style font, fading in and out on a black background.

Technique: Fading effects.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Black Dynamite, Bright Star, The Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day, The Young Victoria, The Runaways and The Square.
