Background

Archie Comics is an American comic book publisher headquarted in Pelham, New York. The company's many titles feature the fictional teenagers Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle, Sabrina Spellman, Josie and the Pussycats and Katy Keene.

(October 12, 2013- )

Logo: On a white background, we see the face of the mascot, Archie Andrews in a circle with the word "Archie COMICS" underneath. Then the mascot changes into Archie's other face (illustrated by Fiona Staples).

Variants:

  • On Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the same mascot changes into a vampire version of Sabrina (as seen in the comics' front cover, illustrated by Robert Hack) and the circle is red.
  • A still version without the circle exists.

Technique: The Archie mascot changing into other faces.

Music/Sounds: A happy three-note tune accompanied with the sounds of paper, which were later removed. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina variant uses a swoosh. The still variant has the ending theme.

Availability: Current. First seen on Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch. It then later appeared on Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Katy Keene.
