Revision as of 17:10, 25 April 2023

Not to be confused with ArcLight Cinemas.

1st Logo (April 1992-2004)

Logo: On a black background, there is the text "Arclight Films" brightens by some lights with each different direction. When a big light comes out from the right, it brightens the whole text, and creating a big orange light (sorta like sunshine). And the text re-shines more even brighter, and the logo would result in static. The whole logo fades out.

Technique: The lights.

Music/Sounds: Starts with a door slam, followed by some door crank noises throughout the lightening, finally, a woman shushes.

Availability: Seen on films released by the company from the era, like Dream Warrior. The logo appears on a trailer for Bailey's Billions, but never appears on the movie itself.

2nd Logo (2004-)

Logo: On a black background, the text "ARCLIGHT FILMS" flips by letter one by one. A flashlight behind comes from right, moves slowly to the center, make shadows for each letters. When the flashlight arrives in center, it brightens more, which also brightens the whole logo.

Technique: The flips and the lights.

Music/Sounds: Silent.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • On the U.S. release of Kokoda, it would use the music from the 3rd Palace Films logo. This may be the effect of a plastering error.
  • Otherwise, it would uses the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Might seen on films produced/distributed by the company, such as the aforementioned film.
