Background
An off-shoot division of Film Ventures International.
(1978-1984)
Logo: On a starry background, we see an stylized 3D "ARC" yellow lettering zooming from outer space (leaving a 3D trail, very similar to the 1978 Associated Film Distribution logo, see below). Then the words "ARTISTS RELEASING CORPORATION" appear.
Technique: Early computer effects.
Music/Sounds: A majestic and dreamy fanfare that was also used in the 2nd Film Ventures logo.
Availability: Seen on the 1984 Vestron Video and possibly the the 1990 Avid Home Entertainment VHS releases (due to the latter maybe being a reprint) of Mortuary and The House on Sorority Row.
