Background

An off-shoot division of Film Ventures International.

(1978-1984)

Visuals: On a starry background, we see a stylized 3D "ARC" yellow lettering zooming from outer space, leaving a 3D trail. Then the words "ARTISTS RELEASING CORPORATION" wipe in below from left to right.

Technique: Early computer effects.

Audio: A majestic and dreamy fanfare that was also used in the 2nd Film Ventures logo.

Availability: Seen on the 1984 Vestron Video and possibly the the 1990 Avid Home Entertainment VHS releases (due to the latter maybe being a reprint) of Mortuary and The House on Sorority Row.
