After a temporary dissolution during the defeat in 1945, it was reestablished in December of the same year. In 1947, it was renamed as Shinsekai Eigasha and existed until 1949. Background

Asahi Eiga Seisaku Co., Ltd. (朝日映画製作株式会社) was a Japanese film production company. It mainly produced newsreels, documentary films, and shadow puppet films. From 1937 to 1943, Asahi Eiga Seisaku Co., Ltd. merged with eight companies, including Geijutsu Eigasha, to form Asahi Eigasha Co., Ltd. After a temporary dissolution during the defeat in 1945, it was reestablished in December of the same year. In 1947, it was renamed as Shinsekai Eigasha and existed until 1949. It has no relation to Asahi Eiga Renmei, which was established in May 1933 by Ryunosuke Tsukigata in partnership with Seika Shiba of Nippon Eigasha.
