Background: Astra Video was a short-lived controversial pre-cert label.
1st logo (January 1982-August 1983)
Logo: On a black background, a stacked "AV" appears in a retro futuristic font, made of glowing orange lines. A still ping is also seen on the bottom of the "V". About halfway into the logo, the text "MOVIE MAGIC FROM ASTRA" wipes in below.
FX/SFX: The text wiping in below.
Music/Sounds: A UFO-like violin note, extended to play throughout the entire logo.
Availability: Very rare. Seen on a majority of their library, which includes Snuff, Blood Feast, I Spit On Your Grave, among others.
Editor's Note: None.
