Greeny Phatom

@SonicFan91: I don't think Greeny phatom is that notable. It has a cult following, but a small one at that, the average person wouldn't even know what that is. (And CMIIW but isn't GP Ms Paint? ) Logohub (talk) 13:29, 5 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

"Danny Sky - THX" and "Money Man - 24"

They both contain a reference to a logo, with THX being more blatant. Are they notable enough, though? --B-RY (talk) 11:06, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Go for it. --CooleyBoy10 (talk) 18:25, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Is there a 20th Century Fox parody in a Disney Channel?

As I said before, I did saw a 20th Century Fox parody in a Disney Channel show. Can you help me find it? WindowsViennaFish2010 (talk) 13:28, 19 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

WindowsViennaFish watches the Southeast Asian version of Disney Channel, so it's probably a non-Disney show that only airs on Disney Channel in that region, because no Disney Channel show I know of features a 20th Century Fox parody in its intro. All we know is that the show in question is CGI animated. Buzzfan120 (talk) 00:20, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Buzzfan120 You can look up "Disney channel shows" in google, can be Jojo's Circus. WindowsViennaFish2010 (talk) 00:29, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Jojo's Circus is stop-motion animated, not CGI. So I don't think that's it. Buzzfan120 (talk) 03:15, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm guessing you're thinking of this, but it's HBO Family and not Disney Channel. You must have remembered it wrong. Buzzfan120 (talk) 19:26, 12 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Nickelodeon parody I noticed on an Oversimplified video.

This might not be notable, but I found a parody of the Nickelodeon logo on the Oversimplified video "Napoleonic Wars 2", this parody seems to be titled "Nickapoleon" and it parodies the blimp logo. KCMessagesornot (talk) 16:20, 27 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Move video games into it's own section?

I feel that video games are a large enough form of media to have it's own section on this page rather than just being in the miscellaneous section. If not, I understand completely. Nova (talk) 21:55, 16 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I agree. AlmightyKingPrawn (talk) 04:02, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Have any of you guys watched AKIRA and found a logo?

Well I was curious if anyone had watched AKIRA and found a logo. can american or japanese logo. as for example when in the anime The Castle Of Cagliostro There was a parody of the NHK logo so does anyone find a logo in the anime or not? And I also need the image that has the parody or real logo.

Saturday Morning All Star Hits!

GiK is a parody of DiC, Herb Whibley is a parody of Walt Disney, and Polystar is a parody of Carolco.

But what companies were THESE companies trying to parody? ChowderRulez (talk) 18:54, 21 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

the only one I know is the Grof GarVideo Logo which is a parody of Polygram Video (Come to my talk page!!1!1!1!1!1!!1) 23:35, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

JOAX-TV and THUD

Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_Yjs-F2mJc

Also, there is the THUD parody logo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hByt1KkiwgM

I wonder if they are notable? --Pingu (talk) 02:31, 26 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

THUD is already listed. It's one of the most memorable scenes in Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation. Buzzfan120 (talk) 02:36, 26 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I added more description for the THUD logo. --Pingu (talk) 02:46, 26 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Robot and Monster MGM parody

Does anyone have a higher quality image of this MGM parody from the Robot and Monster episode "Safety First"?

MGM roars in other media

Should cartoons that use the Mark A. Mangini MGM roar be mentioned on the page? I know an episode of The Simpsons and two episodes of Total DramaRama use it, but I'm not sure if its either a stock sound effect or they're just stealing entirely. Should we enter them in and see what happens? If you want information, I'll list the shows and episodes:

  • The Simpsons: "$pringfield" (Season 5)
  • Total DramaRama: "Dial B for Birder" and "Gwen Scary, Gwen Lost" (both Season 3)

Vmoney25 and (talk).(5:05, 20 May 2023 (UTC))

This may sound stupid, but I think it's really important.

Make that two Simpsons episodes - the MGM lion roar was also used for Marge's roar in the Season 3 episode "Homer Alone", which is already listed on the page. Buzzfan120 (talk) 04:29, 6 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

So I made this because I'm not sure if this example (from Stephen Colbert's Late Show) is notable enough for inclusion here. I was watching a rerun of season 7, episode 24 of the show (it's been in reruns since the WGA strike began), and during the opening sketch, after logos for "Skynet" and "The Legion of Doom" (referencing The Terminator and the DOOM franchise), there was a logo for "Puppy Punching Inc." that slightly resembled the logo for Shadow Projects (black-on-white color scheme, a near-identical circle, and a silhouette of a dog, in this case a {sad-looking} puppy). If it's notable enough, I'll add it to the page. If not, I'm fine with that. AUnnamedDragon 12:06 AM, July 27, 2023 (CET)

Notable?

Are parody logos from shows in a specific country (i.e. Eat Bulaga! - Barangay Cinema (TCF Parody) in the Philippines) notable? ScarletViolet (talk) 12:56, 30 June 2024 (UTC) ScarletViolet (talk) 12:56, 30 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
