Background
Augenblick Studios is an independent animation company founded by Aaron Augenblick in 1999. The company has produced animated shows, mainly for adult audiences, such as Superjail! and Ugly Americans.
1st logo (1999-2004)
Visuals: On a black background, there is a moonshine bottle with wings and a label reading "XXX" on a circle with an animated sky backdrop. There are also the words "AUGENBLICK STUDIOS" with 2 stars in between them rotating around the circle. The bottle's wings seem to overlap the words and circle.
Variants: Sometimes, the word "REPLAY" appears below it.
Technique: Flash animation.
Audio: None or the end theme of the show.
Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
2nd logo (2004-2006)
Visuals: There is the same bottle from before, only this time, it's colored black and white. Above it are the words "AUGENBLICK STUDIOS" in a cartoony font. It appears in-credit alongside the POW! Pix and Comedy Central logos.
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: The end theme of the show.
Availability: Only seen on Shorties: Watchin' Shorties.
3rd logo (April 28, 2004-)
Visuals: It is a remake of the first logo. On a black background, there is the same bottle from the previous 2 logos, only this time, it's inside of a different circle with the words also inside the circle. Also, the bottle's wings no longer overlap the words or the circle. The circle rotates.
Variants:
- A still variant exists.
- Sometimes, the logo zooms in.
- Starting in 2017, the logo is updated. The bottle's label is a bit bolder, the circle is completely white, and the words are in a different, black font.
- To commemorate the company's 20th anniversary in 2019, the logo appears beside the number "2", acting as the "0", with a line below it.
Technique: Flash animation.
Audio: A loud, 50's like "Ta-Da!" sounder. Sometimes, it's silent or uses the show's respective theme.
Availability: Seen on season 1 of Teenage Euthanasia on Adult Swim. It was also seen on Wonder Showzen on MTV2, Ugly Americans on Comedy Central, The Jellies, and season 1 of Superjail!.
