Background
Avalanche Home Entertainment was a division of Lions Gate Films that was founded in 1998 to distribute smaller Canadian B-movies and independent films. After Lionsgate acquired Trimark in 2000, Avalanche Home Entertainment dissolved into Lionsgate Home Entertainment the following year.

FX/SFX: The rippling background, the avalanche, and the flash.
Music/Sounds: A dramatic horn tune ending in an orchestral hit, followed by an ethereal synth tune.
Availability: Uncommon. Appears on older VHS/DVDs like Tiger Claws II, Cyber Vengeance, Expect to Die, Glam, Crisis, Shivers, Hitman's Run, Requiem for Murder and Papertrail, among others.
