Background

Axon Video was a special interest distribution company.

(1988-1995)

Logo: On a black background, we see a rotating 3D "A". Another "A" zooms in, rotating, then fades out. With a quick flash, we see a white background with purple filmstrip with lines behind the "A", then the background goes back to normal. After another flash, the "A" slows down, and stops. The same purple filmstrip and the lines from before appear. While the background is flashing, the words "AXON", on top, and "VIDEO" on the bottom respectively, zoom out. After the flashing is done, the words are now black, and the logo is in a white box.

FX/SFX: The rotating, the flashing. Not too bad for the time period, but it looks a little cliched 80s.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic synth fanfare.

Availability: Can be seen on video releases from the company.
