Background
Azerbaijanfilm (Azərbaycanfilm) is an Azerbaijani state-owned film production company situated in the capital city, Baku. Its origins trace back to 1920 when it was established as the photo-cinema department of the Azerbaijan SSR People's Commissariat. Over the years, it underwent several name changes, including "Azerbaijani Photo-Cinema Office" (AFKI) in 1923, "Azdovletkino" from 1926 to 1930, "Azkino" from 1930 to 1933, "Azfilm" in 1933, "Azdovletkinosenaye" in 1934, "Azerfilm" from 1935 to 1940, and "Baku Cinema Studio" from 1941 to 1959. In 1960, it adopted its current name, "Azerbaijanfilm" cinema studio, in honor of Jafar Jabbarly. Today, "Azerbaijanfilm" operates under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan.

2nd Logo (2012-2022)
Visuals: On a black background, a segmented silver metallic shape in the form of a waving banner zooms out. The end of a filmstrip "folds" in underneath the waving banner shape, completing the emblem to be a waving segmented filmstrip.. The spark of light forms the word "AZƏRBAYCANFİLM" in silver and red, next to the emblem. A reflection forms under the logo.

Availability: Seen on films from this period such as Dolu, Sübhün səfiri, and others.
3rd Logo (2022-)
Visuals: On a black background, a stylized winged camera shutter emblem is seen. "AZƏRBAYCANFİLM" is seen below.
