1st Warning (1986-1991)

Warning: On a black/indigo gradient background, a red grid is seen. A grey rectangle falls onto the grid, then the grid turns yellow. On the rectangle, we see the following white text scrolling:
After the text scrolls away, the NVPI (Nederlandse Vereniging van Producenten en Importeurs van beeld - en geluidsdragers [Dutch Association of Producers and Importers of image and sound carriers]) logo (the word "nvpi" in a yellow outlined font) appears. It then scrolls in the same way and turns so it is facing straight, stopping once it reaches the top of the rectangle. The following text scrolls in the same way as the first portion:
After it reaches the last line of the portion, it stops scrolling. Then, the NVPI logo flies away. The warning text fades out, and the following text fades in:

Variant: There is an early version used from 1986 until 1989 where the text scrolls faster. Also, the NVPI logo is a white square with the word "nvpi" in a blocky green font. The screen also fades out after the flying animation, which is also different. The text "Waarschuw dan de Stichting Video Veilig (020-763149)" is also "Waarschuw dan de videodistributeur." and the text "Deze cassette is niet bestemd voor verhuur door de detaillist doch uitsluitend voor verkoop" is absent.
Technique: Early CGI animation.
Music/Sounds: "Frankie & Annette" from Network Music Ensemble. The early version used a funky sax tune with some sound effects recycled from Kijkwijzer
Availability: Uncommon. Found on all tapes that had the Windmill hologram except Rover Dangerfield. The 1989 variant makes a surprise appearance on two Dutch DVDs of HomeComputerMuseum, despite the fact that the DVD was released in the Netherlands at the time the 3rd warning was used.
2nd Warning (1991-1995)

Warning: On a black background, a clip of people is wiped in with many different shapes in many colors is wiped in. The NVPI logo and a television shape in orange with red lines and the word "BAF" fly in and land on the yellow shape, then a black bar appears and a squiggly red line flies on the border of the yellow and black shape and separates the two in half. As a squiggly flickering line appears in the black shape, the following text is wiped in:
The text then fades to the following text:
The text again fades to the following text:
The text, again, fades out to make room for the following text:
After the last set of the text is wiped away the 2 logos fly off the yellow shape and the copyright "(c)EFO (year)" is revealed on the black bar.

Availability: Common; it was used on Disney, Warner, MGM/UA, FOX and CIC tapes. Don't expect this to appear on The Flintstones, which was released in 1994, but used the 3rd warning. It also makes a surprise appearance on a Dutch DVD of HomeComputerMuseum, despite the fact that the DVD was released in the Netherlands at the time the 3rd warning was used.
3rd Warning (1995-2002?)

Warning: On a smokey background with grey rings, we see a small white cross. Two triangles (one transparent black with the word "BAF", the other transparent white with the words "VIDEO VEILIG") open up and spin around. A white diamond spins in on the center with the following text on it:
After a few seconds, it spins out, and then back in with the following text:
The diamond spins out and back in again in the same way, this time with the following text:
Then the diamond spins out once again, and the two triangles close. The words "LANGSTRY", "DVP", "EFO" and "(c) 1995" zoom in at the center circle, arranged in a curved position. It fades out.

Availability: Common. Found mostly on Dutch/Belgian Disney (Hercules being one of them), Warner, MGM/UA, CIC (Chinatown), Columbia TriStar (The Flintstones (De Flintstones), City Hall and Matilda) and Fox tapes. Also common on early Dutch/Belgian DVDs at the time. The hologram makes a surprise appearance on a Dutch DVD of HomeComputerMuseum.
4th Warning (2000-2008)

Warning: Real: On a dark blue background, the BAF-BREIN logo (a red-outlined 2x2 yellow/green checker pattern with the copyright, registered trademark, sound recording copyright and trademark symbols, and the text BaF BREIN wrapped around it, and red-green outlined copies of it below) flashes in, along with the following text:
A translucent human head with a visible brain and the BaF-BREIN text appears next to the text, and the text later makes way for the following text:
The following text then replaces the text, with the head being replaced by a closeup not long after:

DVD releases (as well as some Sony Pictures/Columbia TriStar releases) had the hologram warning absent, and "Belt u dan met" is replaced by "Bij twijfel over de echtheid van dit product kunt u bellen met:"
On French VHS tapes and some Universal/Paramount, the text "doute sur l‘authenticite de ces produits" is absent and a hologram warning is present.
Technique: The text and images appearing and disappearing.
Music/Sounds: Same as the previous warning.
Music/Sounds Variants:
- On early Universal Blu-rays featuring this along with a few HD-DVD releases, such as Scarface, Hulk, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, amd The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, the music is in a low tone.
- On the PAL DVD releases of Flipper (1996) and Repo Men, both Dutch and French warnings are silent.
Availability:
- Very common and Current for reprints.
- Universal and Paramount PAL DVD/Blu-ray releases from the time-frame usually contains this if you select either "Français", "Français Benelux" (for Paramount releases) or "Nederlands(talig)" in the language selection menu at the start of the disc.
- It was also seen on some later Belgian Disney/Buena Vista VHS tapes and a few Belgium 20th Century Fox DVDs of the time, like Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, The Girl Next Door and Garfield: The Movie
- Disney tapes that featured this warning include Toy Story 2, the 2001 VHS of The Tigger Movie (Teigetjes Film), Mickey’s House of Villains (Mickey Krijgt Schurken op Bezoek), Dinosaur, Oliver and Company and Peter Pan.
- Also appeared on pre-2008 SPHE releases, including the first 2 Sony Pictures Animation films.
- This warning (along with the DVD variant) is intact on reprints of pre-2007 films.
5th Warning (2007-2012)
Warning: On a purple-magenta abstract background, we see the following text zoom out, with a copyright symbol under it:
The text then breaks apart and the screen zooms to another place on the background, as the following text appears:
The text then breaks apart again and we move to another part of the background, with the following text appearing:
The background starts moving again and the warning flashes to black.

Music/Sounds Variant: On some releases, including early Universal Blu-Rays featuring this, such as Van Helsing, the music is low pitched.
Availability: Common, although no longer current, however it's still current for reprints. It can be seen on many PAL Paramount/DreamWorks and Universal DVDs (and on some Blu-Rays) if you select Dutch, Français or Français Benelux in the language section before the main menu. Known to appear on Dutch FilmWorks and Bridge Entertainment Group DVDs.
- Also appeared on pre-2012 SPHE releases, including Sony Pictures Animation films.
- This warning is intact on DVD/Bluray reprints of pre-2012 movies.
