Visuals: On a space background with several dark mountains, some shooting stars pass through a green aurora. The camera pans up, and the stars pass through a blue aurora to form the signature BBC logo. The letters in "Earth", zoom out one by one below the BBC logo. The background fades into a light blue background. Finally, the light blue background fades into another space background, with a turquoise square containing "BBC" and "Earth", and two white lines with "Films" between them, below the square.

Variants:

  • On Tiny Giants 3D, "Films" is removed.
  • Starting in 2017, "earth" is all in lowercase, and the BBC logo is now on the top left.

Technique: CGI by Create Advertising London.

Audio: A dreamy orchestra piece, combined with some whooshes and a choir.

Availability: First seen on Walking with Dinosaurs 3D which was re-released in 2014 under the title Walking with Dinosaurs: Prehistoric Planet 3D. Also seen on Enchanted Kingdom 3D and Earth: One Amazing Day.
