1st Logo (July 8, 1991)

Visuals: On a white marble background (similar to that of the 1992 BBC Video logo), a grey, translucent version of the 1988 BBC logo fades in. The red, drop-shadowed text "E N T E R P R I S E S" follows suit, fading at the bottom, while the BBC logo also garners a drop shadow. Then, the copyright year (in a red Times New Roman font and in Roman numerals) fades in below "E N T E R P R I S E S". Eventually, the whole thing fades to black.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A heavy synth note, along with a descending chime tune.

Availability: Only seen on Charles and Diana: The First Decade.

2nd Logo (1992?-1997)

Visuals: Just the 1988 BBC logo on a white background.

Technique: None. [possible misuse]

Audio: The ending theme of the programme or none.

Availability:

  • So far, it was only seen on a 1990s reprint of Happy Ever After.
  • It is currently unknown if DVD prints of the show retain this logo, however, since the show has been released onto DVD on September 26, 2016.
  • This logo was also seen on all BBC programmes on UK Gold from 1992 to 1997, such as Doctor Who, EastEnders, Top of the Pops, and Howard's Way, among many others.
