Background

BEC Sports is the sports division of Bloomington Educational Cable Television.

1st Logo (October 6, 1993-November 16, 1994)

Logo: An in-credit notice like BEC-TV's other logos, the logo consists of "THIS HAS BEEN A PRODUCTION OF" in a stacked format against white rectangles. Underneath it is the 1993 BEC logo over a white "'SPORTS'" outline on a transparent blue box with the copyright year in Roman numerals in the same format as the "production" text underneath it.

Variant: On the 1994 Football Sect 6AA Championship match between Jefferson and Eden Prairie, the text and square box are in green.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the program.

Availability: Extremely rare. It was mainly seen on football programs from this period such as the October 6, 1993 match between Kennedy and Jefferson and the 1994 Football Sect 6AA Championship match between Jefferson vs Eden Prairie. Some sports such as hockey and baseball either don't use a logo or have the regular 1993 logo instead.

2nd Logo (September 20, 1995)

Logo: Mostly the same as the regular 1993 BEC logo except the logo is in a slightly-dark white color with "Sports". The top text reads "This has been a teleproduction of" whereas the bottom text consists of the BEC's name, its phone number, and the copyright info in Roman numerals including "BEC-TV".

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the program.

Availability: Extremely rare. So far, it was only seen on a September 20, 1995 football match between Jefferson and Kennedy. By the end of this logo's run, most sports programs have switched to the regular 1993 logo.
