Background
Baksei Thansuor Films was a Cambodian film company from before the Khmer Rouge.
1st Logo (196?-197?)
Logo: On a black background, we see a drawing of a dancing figure on a lotus (probably an apsara). Above is the arched company name in Khmer and below are two sets of text: "SUPER PRODUCTION" with the arched "BAKSEI THANSUOR FILMS" below it. The drawing then fades out.
FX/SFX: The drawing fading out.
Music/Sounds: Unknown. On Runteas Pich Videofilm's print of Sovann Pancha, the theme from the Runteas Pich Videofilm logo plays over this logo.
Availability: Extinct. Many films dating from before the Khmer Rouge are lost or destroyed. This logo appeared on the 1970 film Sovann Pancha.
