Background

Baldevjiu Productions is an Odia-language Indian film company.

(1989-)

Nicknames: "The Odia God", "Jagannath"

Logo: On a blue wall with red curtains above, we see what appears to be a white model with a face with big eyes and flat mouth on it. There's an Indian hat on it and there appears to have transparent arms on it, holding circles with radial patterns. The camera zooms out so we can see flowers and a white cloth on its torso, and a man in white clothing. The man prays to the god.

Variant: In later years, the logo was a bit more faster.

FX/SFX: It's all live-action.

Music/Sounds:

  • 1989-199?: The theme used by the 1988 Manish Films logo from Meri Zabaan.
  • 199?-: An Indian theme with flute and sitar.

Availability: Rare. Spotted on their early movies, including Bastra Haran and Pacheri Uthila Mahji Duaru. Also it has been spotted in Sasu Hata Kadi Bhauja Bedi, Aalo Mora Kandhei and Kemiti a Bandhan.
