Background

Bardel Entertainment is a Canadian animation studio company founded in 1987 in Vancouver, British Columbia. However, they had no corporate logo until 2002.

1st Logo (2002-October 30, 2008)

Logo: A white banner with purple outline appears by rotating. The logo, made of cartoon-styled letters, is posed over it.

FX/SFX: The banner rotating.

Music/Sounds: A simple cartoon tune composed by Michael Richard Plowman and Hal Foxton Beckett, the composers for Edgar & Ellen. Sometimes, it's the ending theme of the show or silence.

Availability: Appeared on Silverwing, Dragons: Fire & Ice and its sequel, early episodes of Viva Piñata, season 1 episodes of Chaotic and Edgar & Ellen.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (2008- )

Logo: The word "Bardel", same style as before, appears still on a black background. Then a green dot jumps and bounces off two last letters to fall inside the "d".

Variants:

  • The logo appears on a more complicated background on shows like Mother Up!.
  • There is a still version.
  • A white background version exists.
  • On Angry Birds Blues, there's a still in-credit version.

FX/SFX: The dot jumping.

Music/Sounds: Same as the last logo or the ending theme of the show.

Availability: Can be seen on Zeke's Pad, Angry Birds Blues, and Mother Up!. Don't expect this to appear on other shows and films by the company, such as Rick and Morty, Teen Titans Go!, Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2021), and The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild.

Editor's Note: With a new logo introduced by Bardel on March 24, 2022, this logo's days are numbered.
