1st Logo (March 10, 2000-September 8, 2001)


Visuals: Inside a white rectangle on a black background, a horseman poses in front of a tilted red "B", with his blade raised. Above the rectangle is the text "BATTLE PLAN" and below, "P R O D U C T I O N S".

Technique: A printed image made using traditional ink and paint.

Audio: None.

Audio Variant: On an international print of The Contender, the final few seconds of the DreamWorks Pictures theme are heard.

Availability: Seen on Deterrence, The Contender, and Scenes of the Crime.

2nd Logo (December 2, 2003-2007)


Visuals: The horseman from before raises his blade on a white background, while his horse slowly rears. At the same time, a big red "B" condenses in the background and "BATTLE PLAN" with "P R O D U C T I O N S" rapidly fly to their positions below.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A majestic horn fanfare composed by Larry Groupé or the closing theme.

Audio Variant: On episodes 8-13 of Commander in Chief, the second half of the Steven Bochco Productions theme is heard.

Availability: Seen on Line of Fire, Commander in Chief, and the failed pilot of I'm Paige Wilson.

3rd Logo (August 24, 2007-)


Visuals: There is an extra-close shot of a sheet of paper. Suddenly, the clipper of a typewriter stamps the letter "B" onto it, and the camera moves across the sheet to follow other letters being stamped one by one. The camera zooms out to reveal the full name: "BATTLEPLAN PRODUCTIONS".

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: The sounds of stamping.

Availability: Seen on Resurrecting the Champ, Nothing But the Truth, What Doesn't Kill You, and Straw Dogs (2011).
